Summer Reading, happened so fast! Seriously, where did the end of the year go? Wowza! It was a little hard saying good-bye to our wonderful 5th graders, but most of the kiddos I get to see again in a few short months. Thank goodness. I love being a part of their lives, inspiring reading and information literacy!
All of our students know about the summer reading program at the North Central Regional Library and hopefully lots will sign up because they want to keep their skills sharp. Library cards are free, so click here to apply for one! Also, they all know about using Tumblebooks through the NCRL. All they need for that is their student ID numbers when it asks for their library card and their pin after clicking on the link at the NCRL. Just type that number in (drop the zero at the front) in both places and their in! They can also do that for Mango Languages, Culturegrams, elementary e-library in more. Awesomeness!
