Pajama Reading Night with Target Volunteers

Our Pajama Reading Night was a lot of fun. We started the evening by hearing from our principal, Mr. López, and Josh, from Target. Josh shared with us that Target was giving our school another $500 in free books! Wow! We are so blessed by Target and can't believe how much they have done to help our school- from providing books (now $2500 in total over the past 2 years) to buying us a digital camera, to providing volunteers and supplies to cover the books in laminate, we feel very grateful. This night they had a group of volunteers come to read with our students in English and Spanish.

After the awesome announcement about the free books, both Mr. and Mrs. Ferrell read a book to the whole group and projected the illustrations on the big screen.

Then, we divided up into small groups and heard from our Target readers. After the story was done, our groups would rotate onto the next reader. So fun!

At the end of the night we enjoyed juice and cookies, plus Target gave every child a Target beach ball! Thanks again Target!!!
