All of our classes are discussing and researching the U.S. Constitution this week since Constitution day is Sept. 17th. 4th and 5th grades are using the library's laptops to explore websites though our Webpath Express and discovering some great information along the way about the 3 branches of government, the framers of the Constitution and the importance of The Bill of Rights. 2nd and 3rd are doing a guided research project with me to do their research, while the Kinder and First grade classes are enjoying David Catrow's "We The People," a fun illustrated example of what they Preamble to the Constitution really means.
Lots of learning and information seeking strategies being explored this week!
